Overcoming race inequality in housing

25 Jun 2025
Homes and governance theatre - Delegate only
Residents from black and ethnic minority communities are more likely to experience worse housing conditions, and less tenure security. At the same time, there are persistent issues with representation in the sector, with a need for leadership teams and boards to better reflect the diverse communities they serve. This session will explore how housing organisations can address race inequality in housing more proactively and systematically and use their influence to combat negative narratives that support racism and other forms of discrimination.
