We’re kicking off with something powerful. A screening of Open Yer Eyes poem by Matt Waller and Jonathan Wharton, created as part of Sunderland’s Thread of Life event. The event was organised in the wake of the riots of 2024, bringing people together to celebrate their city’s history and identity. It’s a moving reflection on resilience, diversity, and the power of community.
