25 Jun 2025
Homes and governance theatre - Delegate only
There’s a need for greater unity and collaboration among housing providers and suppliers to scale up work and address skills and knowledge gaps which is hindering progress on new builds, and investment in existing homes. Join this session for a conversation exploring the collective work underway to overcome these challenges: Collaboration with educational institutions and government initiatives to develop the necessary skills pipeline for the future.  Training and development programs to address the knowledge gap, particularly in areas like retrofit, procurement and contract management.  Contractor insolvencies: How can we guarantee workload for SMEs? How do we spread risk across the sector?  Shared collaboration around procurement, looking at examples of where collaboration has worked.
