Keynote address: Embedding a culture of safety
In the nine years since Grenfell, regulations have caught up with the moral responsibility the housing sector has always had to ensure safety. Now the focus must be on applying this culture of safety rigorously and universally, including with contractors, and extending the Building Safety Act's remit to cover high-risk buildings such as hospitals. What the sector can do to more effectively embed a culture of safety at an organisational and individual level? Pace of remediation will be the defining question for next few years, what can the sector do to expedite delivery safely
