Neighbourhoods reimagined - designing places with people and purpose in mind
Co-production is a technique that everyone is talking about, and we are increasingly being encouraged to do it. But this is tricky within a housing context isn't it? When are we supposed to do it? What if problems come up that we can't solve? What if senior management don't agree? In this engaging session, we'll share some key things to know about co-production and and then take you through a rapid process, using real residents' challenges, participatory techniques and systems thinking.
This session will
- encourage sector colleagues to think about how and when to do co-production and co-design with residents
- enable participants to take part in a rapid participatory co-design process, trying to find new and innovative solutions to real residents' challenges
- use systems thinking to build solutions in more concrete ways
