Building Safety & Tenant Voice Stage - open to all

Two years on from the UK's divisive race riots, misinformation about housing allocations continues to fuel public mistrust and cultivate a sense of unfairness. Drawing on South Liverpool Homes' recent multimedia campaign 'Let's Talk Facts: Who Gets Our Homes' a 522-response customer survey and frontline colleague insight, this case study session presents evidence-based strategies for communicating transparently with the public and tackling anti-immigrant myths confidently and safely.

Delegates will leave with:
An understanding of the scale and impact of housing misinformation on public trust and community relations
Insight into how housing providers can respond to misinformation effectively without amplifying harm or risk to colleagues, and access to a practical sector toolkit that housing associations can adopt to tackle misinformation confidently and safely
