Ensuring residents have the skills, confidence and opportunities to succeed is central to Greater Manchester’s mission to tackle poverty and build a more equitable city region. This session will explore how housing and community leaders are working together to break down barriers and create pathways into good work.

The panel will explore how skills programmes, targeted support and place‑based partnerships can improve life chances, strengthen local economies and help residents access secure employment that supports long‑term wellbeing. The panel will also examine how the housing sector can play a pivotal role in creating fairer, more inclusive growth across Greater Manchester.
