Retrofit, repairs and decarbonisation programmes are experienced in people's homes not on strategy documents. When delivery is poor, the impact on tenants can be immediate: stress, disruption, health risks and loss of trust. When done well, it improves comfort, affordability and quality of life.

This opening session centres the tenant perspective, what residents experience, what they expect, and why getting this right is critical for successful delivery.
