Omfax has been providing software for social housing since 2001. Best known for Keyfax, our intelligent diagnostics solution, we provide repairs and enquiries diagnostics to dozens of customers across the UK.
Our newest innovation is KeyNect, which opens a video session with the tenant’s mobile device so that video, photos and audio can be captured about the tenant’s issue. Advisors get to see the issue first-hand and can record anything which they think will be useful to the contractor for repairing the issue or addressing ASB or noise nuisance. They can also take photos of any other useful aspects of the call.
The resulting video and photos can be passed back into the Housing Management System, or CRM, as URLs and can be viewed by whoever needs to see them. Contractors do not need to visit tenants’ properties to inspect for repairs, therefore saving time, money and reducing environmental impact.
