Chris Davis
Chris has worked with the Façade business development team for Glass at H.B. Fuller | Kömmerling since 2012 predominantly operating in the building products sector developing markets and disseminating technical knowledge for H.B Fullers range of Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive (LOCA) lamination products. More recently his scope of activity has extended to developing markets for the ground-breaking Ködispace 4SG reactive warm edge technology as a high-performance edge sealant system for insulated glass production. His role requires close liaison with building designers and process partners to assist in business and product development and to engage with engineers and academic institutions to understand shifts in market and regulatory requirements. Communicating these changes to internal technical and business functions is a key component of his day to day role.
Prior to working alongside H.B. Fuller / Kömmerling I managed specialist lamination production facilities for Pilkington United Kingdom Ltd before joining the P.U.K.L technical services team in 1993. I also gained invaluable business development experience over the seventeen years spent building my own specialist structural glass design, manufacturing and installation business.
I currently hold the Chair position on the Glass and Glazing Federation Advisory Board which oversees the duties of the Federation in representing both its membership and the wider industry. I also sit on the GGF Group Board participating as a non-executive Director in their role overseeing the performance and governance of the commercial businesses that form part of the GGF Group
