Emily Shaw is the Head of Product at Plentific, where she leads the strategic evolution of the platform’s product suite. A passionate advocate for the transformative power of AI in social housing, Emily focuses on moving the sector away from reactive maintenance toward a future of proactive, data-driven action. By bridging the gap between design, engineering, and human behavior, Emily ensures that AI and emerging technologies are deeply integrated core capabilities rather than "bolt-on" features. Her roadmap is defined by a commitment to solving the sector´s most critical challenges through intuitive SaaS innovation. Since joining Plentific in 2019, Emily has leveraged her extensive experience scaling products within high-growth tech environments and at global publisher Penguin Random
House to drive meaningful impact at scale.

A strong advocate for Women in Tech, Emily regularly speaks at events promoting diversity and inclusivity in technology. She has chaired panels on the Internet of Things (IoT) at the PropTech Innovators Network and contributes regularly to forums on adoption of AI in the sector. She has been recognised for her achievements as a shortlisted nominee for the Women In Housing Young Achiever Award (2021), the 40under40 Inside Housing award (2024) and as a finalist in Women In Housing’s Independent Professional of the Year category (2025). Emily is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where she studied Politics at Robinson College.
