Jack Head is a Researcher at the Health Determinants Research Collaboration for Greater Essex and a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Public Health and Wellbeing at the University of Essex. He is an experienced social researcher who has worked in academia, the charity sector, and local government. After studying law as an undergraduate, Jack pursued postgraduate research in the social sciences. His research interests include housing and health, the social determinants of health, health inequalities, the sociology of health and illness, and social science methodology. Jack is passionate about the role that interdisciplinary research can play in addressing complex social challenges.
