With over thirteen years of professional experience across architecture, sustainability consultancy and building engineering, and eight years of academic teaching experience. He has led the environmental design for numerous schemes and delivered sustainable award-winning projects buildings in the UK and abroad, including Kingston University’s Town House - RIBA Stirling Prize Winner, LSE’s Centre Building - winner of the RIBA National Award and Civic Trust Award, Noida International Airport - winner of the AR Future Projects Award, and Battersea Power Station - RIBA National Award Winner.

Specialising in environmental design and building performance, Kartikeya has contributed to UK government guidance and industry initiatives with UKGBC, RIBA and NLA, and has supervised over 75 master’s dissertations in the field of environmental design. His work bridges research, policy and practice to deliver future-ready, climate-resilient, low-carbon and energy-efficient design. He is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Westminster, has served on the RIBA Awards Jury as a Sustainability Expert, and is a Net Zero Expert Panellist at the NLA.
