Custom Elson Replacement Tank Designed for Small Spaces
Main
Objective
To design and manufacture a bespoke replacement hot water
tank that could be wall mounted within a restricted corner kitchen space, while
directly replacing the customer’s existing Elson unit and maximising the
available area.
Solution
Using sketches and measurements supplied by TSG Building
Services, a custom 5-sided ELSOflow unit was designed and manufactured
specifically for the installation requirements. The bespoke tank featured:
- Two
¼” immersion heater bosses
- 22mm
hot draw-off
- Integrated
cold water supply tank
- 35mm
injection foam insulation for enhanced heat retention
- A
compact wall-mounted design tailored to fit the corner installation
The unit was designed, manufactured, insulated and completed
within a couple of weeks to meet project timescales.
